Niche Affiliate Marketing System Workshop-Atlanta, Georgia                   Friday Morning 8:30 AM

The room was filled with internet marketers and internet marketer wannabes like me.  After a fantastic motivational lecture by Kathleen Gage, we broke up into our smaller groups of beginners, intermediates, and advanced classes.  There was much teaching, alot of hands on learning and alot of information flowing.

Before you knew it, it was lunch time.  A time to network with peers and talk more with instructors.  You see, the cool thing about NAMS is all the instructors agree to be available to talk and have their brains picked all weekend.

After a full afternoon of  ”classes”, I met for another evenning of networking with other students and speakers.

The next 2 days were just like the first, filled with much learning and networking.  I learned how to write a 300 word article in just 30 minutes, from Jeff Herring.  I learned how to go from start to profit from Lynn Terry, and how to generate traffic from Willie Crawford.

I left Atlanta, very tired, but very exhilarated.  I had focus, and I had a crystal clear clarity as to where I needed to place that focus first.  In the three months since my trip to Atlanta and my encounter with NAMS2, I have started a blog about something I feel very strongly about, I have made my very first online sale, ever, and I am almost finished with my very first ebook.

I attribute those three things to the incredible training I recieved at NAMS2

NAMS - is an acronym for Niche Affiliate Marketing System.  I had the pleasure and good fortune to attend my  first NAMS Workshop in August 2009.  This was the second NAMS Workshop ever to be held.  I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect when I signed up for NAMS2, I just knew that if I was ever going to really learn about this affiliate marketing business, I had to go.

So I took all the money I had been saving for a rainy day and bought my ticket to NAMS and made my reservations for the hotel.  I didn’t know where I was going to get the money for plane tickets to Atlanta, or how I would even pay for the room, but I was going to my first Internet Marketing Workshop.  WoooHooo!

NAMS is the brain child of David Perdew.  David wanted to offer a workshop that helped beginners and advanced marketers alike, and he didn’t want it to be a sales fest.  You know, the kind where every speaker there is trying to talk you into buying their product so “You Too” can be a success.

It wasn’t like that at Nams.  Since “classes” started at 8:30 AM Friday morning, I arrived late Thursday afternoon.  That first night I had dinner with Nicole Dean and Suzanne Meyers, (The Hillbilly Housewife).  They asked me what my niche was and I said that “I really hadn’t found one yet”.

We chatted and brainstormed into the night, with other speakers and students alike stopping by.  People like Lynn Terry, of Self-Starters Weekly Tips, and Traci Knoppe of Beginner to Blogger. It was a great evening of Networking and learning even before the actual workshop began.  By the time the actual NAMS Workshop began, I had my niche figured out and had made some excellent contacts as well.

Well, I got my ticket to NAMS2.  I was able to come up with the $247.00 by today to get my ticket with Lynn Terry’s discount.

I counted up all the change that I tend to save up and what I had in my savings account.  (My savings account is different from my husbands and my account, in that my account is strictly mine to do with whatever I choose, made up solely of that change I save.)     I had a whopping $200.00   not enough.  I told my hubby that I was short $50.00 bucks.  He said that if it was that important to me, he would give me the $50.00.

You see at the moment money is running tight so I really didn’t want to take household money to do this, but I took it as a loan.

Now I just need to come up with my plane ticket money and my room money.  David promises a refund if you can’t make it for any reason, so I really feel like there is no risk.

We shall see if I can save up the rest by August.  Stay tuned. 

After listening in on the free audio interview between Lynn Terry and David Perdew, all I can say is WOW!

Now more than ever I realize I have got to get to NAMS.  Until the end of the month David gave Lynn a special discount for her Clicknewz readers.  $50.00 off the regular ticket price.  That means if I only need to come up with $247.00 to buy my ticket. 

Time to dig into my change pot.     I’ll let you know if I come up with enough change to get my ticket tomarrow.  Right now I’m off to count all that change that I pull out of my pockets and the bottom of my purse periodically.

While following Lynn Terry’s Clicknewz Blog, I read about a live workshop that she had been a speaker at in January 2009 and was going to be teaching at in Atlanta, GA in August 2009.

Lynn is going to be interviewed by David Perdew at the end of the month.  David is the mastermind of Niche Affiliate Marketing System, otherwise known as NAMS, and this audio interview with Lynn is one of several that David is conducting with some of the presenters at NAMS in August.

Needless to say I went to the NAMS2 website to find out all that I could about this conference.  After reading the sales page for NAMS2, I am totally convinced that I need to go to this conference.  Now the question is how to come up with $297.00 before the end of the month.  That’s when the ticket price will be going up $100.00 to $397.00.

I don’t know how yet, but I’m going to get that money somewhere.
